Alien Breed Trilogy incoming for Xbox 360

Mastertronic Group announced that the Alien Breed trilogy will be landing in stores for the Xbox 360 platform.

The boxset includes Alien Breed: Evolution, Alien Breed 2: Assault and Alien Breed 3: Descent.

No pricing details have been revealed as of now. The Alien Breed Trilogy is expected to land in stores March 18 and will be the first time the whole collection will be available on retail.

Versions of the game are available for download on PSN, PC and Xbox Live Arcade. Individual downloads of the game on Xbox Live Arcade costs $30 (£19), so we're hoping the retail price will be competitive.

Kinect XBOX

XBoxes have always been shaky. There could be a link, but I'm assuming not. What could be happening is they are overheating due to the extra demands put on the hardware, but since consoles are these things that companies absolutely REFUSE to lets us tinker with, even going as a far as to prevent us from opening the cases, there's no way to know for sure.

This is why I refuse to buy consoles of any kind, especially Sony's crap, but I thought Microsoft would know better by now. I should be able to open up an XBox to clean the dust out every month. That, and I deplore console gaming in general. W+S+A+D+Mouse = Headshots baby!

RRoD is the result of using solder without lead. Lead is a health hazard when direct contact with the skin. Lead is also the substance that makes the solder so effective in holding components together. The replacement compounds simply can not stand up to the heat. And when you add in the extra computing needed for the Kinect or any other extra controller the leadless solder simply comes apart. So it is no coincidence, it is inevitable.
